Duck in the Pool and Gorilla in the Rolls
Now this is an odd combination - a duck and a gorilla, but they were the two odd sights on a recent weekend away.
It’s always a good idea to have your camera handy. This picture was taken at a luxury resort compound - someone with a sense of humour, and just a little eccentric!
And, for the sake of experiment, I tried the photo in portrait also:
It still looks just as strange, whichever angle you’re at. No idea who the owner is, but they either send passengers into the back seat, or they ride along!
And to think, I debated whether or not to take my telephoto lens! I’m sure glad I did, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to capture a brazen common variety duck, paddling in the pool at the hotel I was staying at!
Something to learn from that - always take your gear - even if you think you won’t need it. I’ve been caught out, or nearly caught out so many times…
